I experienced significant issues during my stay. The staff's weak English made communication difficult, and our first room was unacceptable due to a broken terrace door and dirty furniture. the breakfast quality was disappointing, lacking both selection and hygiene, which certainly did not meet my expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wooden Chalet, where the staff made my 50th birthday truly special. The chef went the extra mile, crafting delightful dishes that elevated our experience.

we had an amazin stay at aliyas resort! the infinity pool was so cool with a breathtaking view of sigiriya rock. rooms were super spacious, comfy and decorated nicely. also loved the breakfast buffet, so many tasty traditional sri lankan dishes! staff was really friendly and helped us with everything, making us feel at home.

I had a fantastic stay, particularly enjoying the stunning view as i walked up to reception and the delightful early morning guided nature walk that allowed me to explore the beauty of the area without even leaving the resort. it was nice that so many food options were available in the main restaurant, making it easy to refuel after a day of walking around sigiriya's iconic sites.
